INNOVATIVE DESIGN IN A KID-FRIENDLY PACKAGE. For toddlers and young- sters, a trip to a hospital, clinic or doctor’s office can often be an unpleasant event. Though a painless procedure, the prospect of a hearing test can be a quite frightening for some children. To remedy this situation, Eckel Industries, Inc., is offering the CL Series line of audiometric rooms, which combine state-of-the-art hearing test facilities and a non-threatening, cheerful appearance. Eckel’s high performance audiometric enclosures allow a medical facility to easily create a kid-friendly exterior appearance while enabling accurate, reliable hearing measurements to be made within. Eckel’s audiometric rooms achieve this desired combination of high acoustic performance and inviting, comfortable testing to our specially engineered 4” sound attenuating panel construction and special cam lock assembly. This design not only ensures excel- lent noise reduction, but also allows the interior wall and ceiling surfaces to be fin- ished in a pleasing color, while the exterior panel sides can be adorned with colorful patterns and drawings. With playful images adorning the outside of the audiometric room, the prospect of approaching the test room becomes more inviting to the child. Contact: Mr. A. Eckel, 617–491–3221
