Nancy S. Timmerman, P.E. is an engineer- ing consultant from Massachusetts work- ing in acoustics and noise control. A Fellow of the Acoustical Society of America (ASA), she is a past Chair of the Technical Committee on Noise, and cur- rently chairs a subcommittee on Wind Turbine Noise for ASA's Panel on Public Policy. She is also a Board Certified Member of the Institute of Noise Control Engineering (INCE), where she is also a Fellow and a past President.
