Gainesville, FL. He was director of the graduate program in architectural acoustics at the University of Florida, Gainesville, for 35 years and has worked on over 2,200 projects globally. He is a registered architect, a Fellow of the American Institute of Architects and the Acoustical Society of America, and an active member of many professional societies. Gary has received awards for research and acoustical design from architectural and acoustical groups. He has written 5 books, 17 book chapters, and over 200 technical papers.
