  1. Eja Pedersen of Halmstad University in Sweden writes that work on the perception of noise from wind turbines [Pedersen, E., van den Berg, F., Bakker, R., and Bouma, J.— Response to noise from modern wind farms in the Netherlands. J. Acous. Soc. Am. 126, 634–643 (2009)] were cited in the article “Wind turbines and ghost stories: The effects of infrasound on the human auditory system” by Hsuan-hsiu Annie Chen and Peter Narins (Acoustics Today 18(2), 51–56 (2012)]. He indicates that the Acoustics Today article misread some data and states that his cited study interviewed 70,000 adults. His study actually included 725 people who responded to a questionnaire.
2. On page 18 of the article “Spatial Release from Masking,” Acoustics Today 18(2), 18–25 (2012), the caption to Fig. 1 is incorrect. The correct caption reads as follows:
Fig. 1. In panel A, a schematic of a sound source presented at 45o to the left of the lis- tener is depicted. Panel B shows the time waveforms of impulse responses recorded in the left (thin line) and right (thick line) ear canals, for that sound source. Panel C shows the amplitude spectra for the same source, also recorded in the left (thin line) and right (thick line) ear canals. The left ear response occurs sooner than the right ear response (see B), hence the interaural time difference (ITD). In addition, the left-ear response has greater amplitude (see C), hence the interaural level difference (ILD).
3. On page 31 of the article “Hearing Loss and Frequency Analysis of Complex Sounds.” Acoustics Today 8(2), 29–33 (2012), the text erroneously identifies the frequencies of the first three formants shown in Fig. 2. These frequencies should be labeled in the narrative as about 600, 1000, and 2600 Hz. Fig. 3 on page 32 also labels these frequency regions erroneously and the corrected figure is shown below.
