in Fram Strait and the 2016–2017 CANAPE experiment in the Canada Basin using autonomous sources and receivers. The CAATEX experiment is a first step toward developing a basin-scale multipurpose acoustic network using modern instrumentation. It will provide the data on low-frequency acoustic propagation in today’s Arctic needed to design basin-scale acoustic networks to help monitor the Arctic as
it continues to change.
