Paul H. Scarbrough
has worked as an acoustical design professional for 40 years. He attended Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Troy, New York, where he studied architecture, acoustics, and music theory. He entered the acoustics field when he joined Jaffe Acoustics in 1983, working under the mentorship of J. Christopher Jaffe. He worked at Jaffe Acoustics for 17 years, rising to become a principal in the firm. In addition to David Geffen Hall, his design credits include the Schermerhorn Symphony Center in Nashville, Tennessee; The Smith Center in Las Vegas, Nevada; and the renovations of Severance Hall in Cleveland, Ohio, and Music Hall in Cincinnati, Ohio.
