Dr. Laura Kloepper, assistant professor of biology, Saint Mary’s College – Notre Dame, and the first Acoustics Today intern was awarded the Office of Naval Research Young Investigator award. Laura is one of 47 young investigators who were honored for exceptionally creative research which holds promise across numerous naval-relevant science and technology areas. Laura is active in a wide range of ASA activities in addition to Acoustics Today and she has been a major force in moving ASA into social media.
